I'm sure much of this has been said before, but not lately, so here goes.
I have been a regular on WGT since the first on Jan. 2010. At first I learned by trial and error and reading some of the tutorials. My play improved slowly and when the "big change" happened I woke up one day and found I was a legend. Probably should not have been, but I struggled with the game for a long while, even with all the best clubs and regular play I had pretty much convinced myself that I had reached the limits of my ability.
And I was right, untill with the advice of some top players I changed my style of aiming and missing early or late depending on wind, to just aiming and dinging. I had always been afraid of aiming way off the green or over water and sometimes the distance of aim point to the flag just seemed rediculous!.
In the last few weeks of the new style (the right style), I have lowered my average about 2 pts., Improved my G.I.R. about 3%, gotten 2 more hole in ones, gotten 2 double eagles, improved my best 18 hole round to 56, and have begun to shoot regularly in the upper 50's.
So my friends if you think you have hit the wall, try aiming and dinging and watch your game improve!
