TigersWhoody:
Poor Gordon i guess he never has played a real round
Well, we are in an online golf game forum and we are talking about it, not about real golf. Online casino and serious illness? I think it's not fair what you wrote, sorry.
thebigeasy707:
played an RG the other day and had more horse shoes than the OK Coral.
5 puts ran round the cup 360 degrees and stayed 1 or 2 inches out.
after the 3rd ringaround the cuppsy i actually started to find it funny.
these things happen from time to time.
i tend to get more peeved when i'm -9 after 9 or 10 holes and a 215 dinged iron into a 2mph right to left wind on cong #`18 travels 200 yrds and into the water pushed by what seems to be a 15 mph wind....which ruins the round.
Sad to say that I'm experiencing the same. They made lots of changes time after time, but never before these changes had also affected putting so badly and clearly. It's not an accuracy matter. Looks like that you just CAN'T score well in some rounds or tourneys in any way, particularly if you just had a previous good score (but it's somewhat random though). That seems not to affect multiplayer mode so much.
WK Oak full 18 last week, I had at least 12 putts lipped out, or slightly edged and so on, some almost flat and dinged. Soon after I played Oak 500 ready-go Heavy Wind and, know what, I scored 28 lol.
Kiawah 500 or 1000 ready-go can be terrible on the backs if you just scored 27 or 28 on the fronts (as I did many times), u will score -3 or -4 on 10-18 after tons of short putts missings or unreal approaches ending up 7 yds short or long on 120-150 yds distance. I think better not exceeding 30 or 31 on the front if you want good backs lol.
Bad days, bad rounds? I just think this goes against any simple statistic principle. But that's what we have.
Hopefully in the future they will find a better solution for it to survive more real, instead of selling Super-Irons and Super-Balls and then being forced to let the game going random. I understand it isn't an easy work for you WGT, and I can say thank you for your efforts (not kidding!)
