putting does not change from tour pro to master , the only thing that changes are you move to a longer tee box .

so you are hitting longer irons into the green , hence longer putts on average .

That's exactly right Canuck.  The green speed does also get faster [...]

Agree to Canuck, disagree to you, cycle.

Master greens are "very fast" like Tour Pro greens, you only move back in the tees.

On the next tier-up to Tour Master, the tees will remain but the greens will have "tournament 1" speed.

Caution: In ranked oder rated multiplayer games the highest tier present will determine the green speed!

I have posted the same subject a few weeks ago after I became "master". My putting has gone to hell. Luckyman, I have the same leaves you are having, 2"-1.7ft. FOREVER!

I'm missing <3ft putts a a very regular basis. It's embarrassing now to play skins. I've missed 2,5ft putts with the green dots standing still, it either stops short 2" in front or either side. It comes to the point that I have no idea what to do on short putts anymore. Every putt is bye-bye birdie.

    Here's an interesting wonderment yesterday, I made a 150ft eagle putt...go figure.

I wish an improvement for the both of us, but It still ain't happnin.

We'll leave the 150 ft eagle putt aside - that was 50% skill for picking the right power and line, and 50% luck, lol.

But to the short misses: if you're like me, a lot of the time it's just not putting with enough 'oomph' to put the ball firmly in the back of the cup. Hitting it just hard enough to get to the hole brings subtle breaks into play. The only exception to that rule might be shorter big-break down-hill putts at Oak and a few holes at the Saints.

Using the reverse view, 'pull' the aiming marker to extend the putting line to ensure you're not on the verge of an elevation or distance change (either + or -); if it increases add a foot, if it decreases subtract a foot. Also - as noted by others - the slower the roll, the more effect you'll get from any break, so it's that last few feet that are critical and the reverse view shows that final approach best.

Watch as Yancy tries to emulate the WGT swing meter in a physical arena - more specificables, da puttin' greens. By using the triangulation principles and some ad-hoc beta-mathematicals - we do learn some stuff and things.
