    Hello WGT or it's administrators,

I have repeatedly reported bad swing meter problems on the game.  And for those that do not know how to during game play,  just right click on game window, and report problem to wgt.

It has now cost me at least 2 sleeves of golf balls.  Yes thats right, at least 6 balls lost because of stuck meter, or bad lag, over loaded servers, or whatever you won't call it.  It is bad enough when i lose balls on my own errant shots, my bad.  But when it is the fault of YOUR meter problems and it cost me real money, it gets very upsetting.

I am looking for a refund of WGT problem Lost Balls.  I think it is only fair.  When meter sticks way left --  balls hooks out of play -- what would you expect?

I am a die hard supporter of WGT, and I will be for a long time.  I use purple GI-SD balls.

Your approved response in this matter will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanking you in advance,

    xXxxMARCxxXx

Stuck meter gets me a lot.  New to this, so figured it was just me (since this is a lot how my real-life games go).  Recent stroke victim, so this is great therapy!!       Fyresq

I have noticed the same thing the past couple of days.  Very bad lag in the meter and long load times between holes.  I have lost 3 balls in the past two days due to the meter.  I too am getting frustrated as losing my money over something that is not my fault.  Some answers from WGT in regards to the meter issue would be greatly appreciated.

After you lose some more purchased balls, you'll come to the conclusion that I have...

Why buy balls when they are getting lost out of no fault of your own.

Play standard balls and spend money (if you wish) on better clubs.

    Peace

I have the good clubs, thanks.  However when you get to certain level of play - free balls just won't do.

    Obviously, Snake  wouldn't know that.

That's fine... that's a choice.  Once you've reached that 'certain level of play' you will have been here long enough to know that the swing meter is flawed (for whatever reason), you will know about "VEMmie" or the "Beast", and you will know about the various inconsistancies surrounding the golf courses ('lost' for OB, water, bad bounces. etc) and you still think that you have to buy WGT golf balls?

That, my friend, is the very definition of insanity.  Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.

You know the meter is flawed -

    You buy balls anyway -

Balls get lost due to a flawed meter you already know about -

    You ask/demand a refund.

That just doesn't make sense.  If you know something is flawed and you take a chance on it, don't complain that it's flawed.  It's not like a surprise or anything.

(Dear Vegas Casino Owner...  I put $50 on the Patriots after Brady broke his leg last year.  Can I have my money back?  It's not MY fault he broke his leg!!)

FYI... here is the thread where I stopped buying golf balls.

Your exactly right, it is my choice to spend endless hours on this hobby.  The entire reason for this post is not the petty $2.65 for lost balls.  It is for the fact that this is a BETA site, and if problems are not reported  (oh I have reported many) how are they to change or make it a better experience for all.

Guess what, I have and will continue to buy balls.  It is an important part of this game.  I do not go to the real golf course and play with "range" balls because I am cheap.  I buy expensive balls there too.  And yes they are better and YES they do make me preform better.

When was the last time you had your "freebie-range" balls back up in the hole??

And by the way, I put all my $$$$ on Peyton - no broken leg - still lost. ;-)

Ya know xMx , I totally agree that WGT should replace each lost ball due to their BUGS ! I downloaded Flash 10 and Game Booster hoping to get better results , but the problem remains . If I did not care about the competition , moving up teirs and how real the game virtually is , I would'nt tell everyone I know about WGT . Their are some who have their systems on steroids . How can we compete with just BUYING EQUIPMENT and BALLS having flawed meters ? We will never compete on a equal playing field .

I have lost more balls in the last 3 times on this site than I have since I started playing

in August. A 165 yrd 6 iron with a 15 mph wind in my face, 16 ft elevation should not go

189 yrds and into the weeds-OOPS lost ball. Oh did I mention it was a ding also. I have

found that this is getting worse on a daily basis. I have had a lot of relaxing hours on

this game but good lord, it is becoming a major task to shoot even par. I just started an

18 hole round on St. A.-birdie-birdie-birdie-triple-lost ball-double-lost ball. Had to get off. Now someone will come back and tell me to suck it up or quit.
