Sound that comes up while you're playing?

  Does anyone else hear a short tone or flash sound while playing. I thought it meant that I just received an invite to play. Nope wasn't that. Maybe to alert me that I was playing slow? Nope wasn't that. No idea? If anyone has an answer to this I'd appreciate some closure. Thanks. Bankerbob67

  Do you mean the sound when one of your friends arrives or leaves?

  There is no "slow play" alert.

  When you play alone, there's nobody behind you :)
  and in multiplayer games, the clock is the alert.

  Hi it,s what PIZTAKER says it,s to let you know one of your friends eitherlogged in or out. That,s the reason some think to many friends can cause meter problems as when your just about to click the ding & someone arrives or leaves it can cause the meter to jump! I,m sure that ,s what it is hope this helps. Smokey.

  Im fairly sure it makes the tone also when 30secs comes up on the shot clock. Or it may be a coincedence that a friend comes on when i have 30 sec left?
