    I concur with OP....

WGT constantly mess with the parameters, I'm sure.

So now I resort to playing most of my games with the Free WGT balls, because...frankly, I don't give a damn... if it gonna drop it's gonna drop...just like the Lottery..so I goes hacking away and really don't give a *** anymore. In fact I have given up on my goal of becoming Legend tier, because it hold no more mystery or benefit from being at the top tier.

I enjoy the CC  and inter CC comps I play in and then I might take out a paid-for ball, but when it comes to WGT comps, I only enter on the off-chance I might have a decent round and get into the top 100.

Maybe so but it's all relative, lol. On the other hand perhaps it will encourage other players when they look at them?

Nearly 6,500 ranked rounds and he's still capable of wetting his pants at the speed of the meter :)

Just a P.S. here on this issue........yesterday, I was reading a BLOG on here where one WGT member has played over 3,600 rounds......geeeezzzzzzz.  I've played 152 rounds since joining 70 days ago and my fiance' is about to kick my a** to the curb......LOL.

And that member's average is (I believe) a 62.0.  With only starter clubs and balls...I feel very challenged...ha!  And putting the ball within 10 to 15 feet on approach shots (which is probabably what the best players are doing)...is challenging.  Still have problems in games with the speed meter...as being off even the a fraction, will cost you a stroke. Wow, if I could earn $1.00 for every putt that I have made that was LESS than 12 inches.....I'd be RICH!!!

And as with REAL golf....I sort of feel that the MORE I PLAY......the worse I get.  I get to thinking too much.  So, I back off for a day, relax and come back and seem to do better.

I do wish WGT would open up some additional courses.  I really like the WOLF CREEK course in Nevada.  But, I'm not willing to pay $$$ to play any course.....I'll continue to play the course I can that are free.
