A few times now I got caught under a lip of a bunker or similar lie. No matter what I try I cannot get the ball out. I end up taking the max 10 then moving on. There's gotta be a way.

    Anyone???

    Anyone??

    Bueller?

punch shot dude. C'mon don't tell you never used the punch shot? Hell I'd be lost without that in my scramblin.

Each course has different bunkers and need different strategies to get out of them. I guessing that you mean the nasty old pot bunkers on St Andrews. If you are up against the front edge or lip, you have to hit the ball back down the fairway. Simply move the aiming icon behind the bunker, and play out with a wedge.

Other courses will require different shots, there's no substitute for practice, so try out your options and make notes of what works and where, and from what lie, soon they will be more of a regulation shot.

Also, if you keep driving into a certain bunker, you may consider laying up short of the bunker.

    Have fun.
