How about the ability to NOT have balls considered LOST all the time.
I mean to say that unless the ball lands in DEEP water, EXTREMELY thick scrubs, un-safe valley's etc,. it should NOT be considered lost.
In the real world, if a ball lands OB, you can retrieve and play it with the usual penalties... simarly, when a ball lands in shallow water and is able to be retrieved, can also be played again. Hell, you can almost always find your ball when it lands in the bushes...
In all my life playing on real courses, I have lost maybe a dozen balls in total, usually because it was un-safe to attempt to retrieve them. Rarely because I couldn't find them.
So, why can't KEEP our balls, especially the expensive ones???
