We all drive for show, and putt for dough..  maybe I am answering my own question..  hahaha....  Lvl 64... 72.41 avg....  Here is what I am thinking..

Do I buy a driver, ( G20 to match my irons :)  ) ,  figuring farther drives, shorter yardage irons,  therefore shorter putts...

Or I buy a putter. I figure a putter, will get me out of trouble with lag putting, and better putting in general.

Interested in your opinions on which route to go. Opinions on putters would be nice

    Thanks Paul ..

I looked at your putting stats - from close in, your putting isn't all that bad, really - however your 3 putt percentage is pretty high (nearly 15%). That means you are losing 1-2 strokes a side just to 3 putts. At your level, 3 putts should be rare.

My suggestion (other than buying more credits or getting free credits to spend) is get the G20 driver first - thus reducing your approach shots by as much as 4 clubs (down) - and making it far likelier to get in birdie range - and dramatically reduce your scores. Many on here use the starter putter even up to and through Legend - having said that, for only 725 credits, the Daytona lvl. 55 putter (which I never have used) is something even Legends swear by - and the precision will have you dropping those birdie putts with more frequency, not to mention 3 putts should be a thing of the past...whichever putter you buy ultimately, I encourage you to get, and use, the corresponding distance chart: http://www.wgt.com/forums/t/80998.aspx
