I think what he means Ike, is a general chat room people can go to without having to play at all, and to know there is not a limited time to conclude a conversation, and also have access to as many people who are in the chat room as opposed to only those with whom you are currently playing.

this is the most needed thing on WGT right now. please do it
Lots of us have suggested this to WGT. A general chat room where you could start games or find them is what people want.
I would prefer the ability to continue chat with player AFTER a MP game, without having to 'Rematch'
Chat about the game, possibility of another on another course... & You could have the option to leave.
This should be possible in agreement of the players:
Chose "rematch" and chat in the game lobby but do not start the second game.(Dunno how long this may be executed)
The button concerned is named "rematch/chat" :)
So still no chat room I see.
Speaking for myself, I see this as a way of retaining members possibly, when they have reached a point beyond which they feel it pointless to continue.
But that's just me.
