So I see there are G20s coming out for around level 81, however I've only heard people talk about the irons.  I am wondering if there will also be a new driver coming out?  If anyone has heard anything I would like to know, because I am looking to buy the lvl 80 R9.  But I don't want to buy it if there might be a higher level G20 driver coming soon.

    Thanks

Yes the G20 set will include a driver and a 3 wood, should be available next week, I'm guessing.

AAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The mythical G20'S.......... I have given up waiting. So far WGT has given us THREE Dates as to when they will arrive. The last message I was given by the WGT Admin was on my face book page saying that they would definitely be out at the End of last week..........

    Stil waiting WGT!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is what  I have "imagined" for the upcoming Ping product release (however holding your breath is NOT adised- lol)

    • New I-20 Driver (level 83) - 4 dots precision, same swing speed and distance as R11, one half dot more forgiveness
    • New Ping S-56 Tour Irons  (level 81) -distance pegged between Burners and R11 irons, but with swing speed matching I-20 driver and 3.5 dots spin
    • Tour S~ Rustique Ping Wedges (levels 81-85-87- 89) with 5 yards added distance to high level Clevelands, one half less dot spin (backspin can actually be used with the Pings to equal Cleveland distances and instead of spinning back off the green, they actually stop where they land) and 5 dots precision.

Totally feel your pain.  I was ready to buy the L80 R9 about 5 weeks ago.  About the time I made up my mind the do it, the G20s came out.  Been suffering with the L62 ever since.

But hey, mission accomplished for WGT.....make us wait ling enough that we think that the new driver is pure hype so we all go out and get the R9 and then have to upgrade in 5 minutes.

At least they gave us a hint that a higher-level version of the G20's would come out soon, which no doubt saved $$$ for some peeps who might have bought the lower-level clubs but chose to wait. (And wait.)

Just cant see a level 81 driver being better than a level 88 one, looking for a R11s driver with the same swing speed as the irons
