inconsistency of the game

  I've been complaining about the inconsistencies most of this week.

  I lose heart with this game when I constantly meet false wind indicators.

  An 85yrd wedge when hit full into a 17mph headwind facing 1800 hours simply shouldn't travel 85 yrds but that's the kinda crap I've been dealing with all week.

  Uphill putts into a strong wind hit 10ft are going 16ft. What's the point of having the 2nd top putter when the stats you mull over before deciding to make the shot are definitely 100% wrong.

  I'm thinking  WGT don't give a toss...they just want the $$$.

  Fair play seems to be on holiday.

  And them Callaway balls....they're a joke at 250cr+......the meter monster's ate at least 8 of mine in the last 2 days.

  Shows you how much WGT respects us when at 250cr....you don't even get any other colour. If they cared then they'd list a few colours for 250cr rofl......I'm thinking they're just trying to work out if they can screw us for more $$$ by offering extra colours...it wouldn't surprise me.

  I'm gonna go back to my old balls...cause at least they're more controllable.

  Not trying to defend WGT, just adding balance to what other members are experiencing. The game is playing great for me.

  Who knows with BETA, things may change for me tomorrow.  : )

  my major gripe is that the wind indicator is  complete pants a lot... the ball scoffing meter i gave up on a while back and i've since stopped buying the meter it's callaway dinners  to orgy feast on.

  just hit an 85yrd wedge full into a 16mph full on headwind on st andrews #1 and it went 59yrds.....but here's the rub, I've played that exact same shot 3 times and more today into exactly same wind and the ball's travelled 85yrds and way past the hole.

  if that ain't f*cked up...then I'll eat Priestess's golf shoes.

  The whole   games fkd up  lately.wil wgt do  anything about it?   will they fk ,as  long as  money  keeps rolling in.  like another poset said Boycott  the game lets see what they will do then.

  I don't think Suzi Luke is exaggerating in the least , this game is very inconsistent in all areas and I have been playing it for a long time now, especially I find in the green speeds. I mentioned this many times. If it putts very fast on a long putt it should also do the same on a short putt. it doesn't.  Wind speeds same thing. A large amount of money is relative to how much you have to spend I suppose, If you are wealthy and can toss it around, then good for you ! I for one can't . Telling someone else what is large or small to him or her is a little presumptuous don't you think .

  Maybe! Just Maybe Since this new ball has arrived the game has been made easier and WGT are expanding the VEM Parameters to combat this,:)

  Most people's scores have gone down dramatically, so I doubt this is the case.

  That is, unless WGT sends deviation values to the client, where it can be read by those who are hacking, at which point deviations can be compensated for.

  Yes this game IS INCONSISTANT with wind, clubs coming up short, and worse of all the  METER which is going worse with every update.

  I've had a moan about the wind etc etc doubling or dissapearing on numerous occasions but its just wasting time, WGT don't care, or it could be part of the game.

  If everyone in pro golf shot exactly the same yardage as their clubs say they should (regarless of wind) it would become a totally boaring relentless game, where you know whats going to happen next!, but as in real golf, every shot is different, Phil Mickelson f@ks up once in a while, so its just adding some realism into it, if we all new to the sixpence where our balls were going to land, we'd all be tied top of the leaderboard.  I know its frustrating scoring well, then a easy birdie on next hole turns to a par 'cause of inconsistancies, but thats golf, not every shot will be perfect, (i played a legend ready go and nearly 2 out of every 5 shots were inconsistant, but i don't know if thats what's ment to happen, just to challenge us more and keep our scores down?)

  But what does FRUSTRATE me and i've had to stop playing my favoutite part of the game, Ready Go's and Challenge matches due to the drunk, i've got no rhythm, kangaroo meter!

  Bro, there MAY be some truth to what your whining about. BUT they do have forums from players if you look( and not whine) that actually tell you how to make shots in different situations and they work.   w.g.t. should offer everyone a GOOD set of FREE balls, its only fair. i'm sure they can afford it . they can find them in cyberspace.
