Selling back Equipment

  I would like to know why that when we buy equipment and decide to upgrade, we lose so many credits selling them back, you only get like a third if that of what we paid for them, after all they are virtual, so they are not worn out, as we transition from amateur to pro, people like to upgrade clubs same as when you upgrade through each level, I have bought several drivers and other clubs and as I moved up I have upgraded but I lose a lot when i try to trade them back as I upgrade. I spend a lot on credits and equipment.

  Someone's gotta help pay for the $300,000 new courses.  If WGT made no money all this wondrful stuff would probably go away.  It's called free enterprise.  And it's rarely free.

  Because it provides [somewhat of] a realism factor. If this wasn't in place, then you could indefinitely cycle through whatever clubs you want by just selling your current ones and replacing them with new ones and then paying the difference. 

  Just be glad they don't have a limited number of hits before you have to buy them again, like balls.

  While it seems to be a totally unfair what you get back selling it back here, it is quite comparable to real golf.  If I bought last years TM R11 for $400, and wanted to sell it back to buy the TM R11s, If I got $100 (25%), I would be psyched to get that much.  Real world retailers rarely give that much for used clubs.  Reason being they are selling it back to another customer and need to make a profit on the sale.

  I understand the frustrations of what we get back here, especially since there is not a used clubs for sale section in the pro shop. Although this could be done. Buy the used R11 driver for 800 creds, only the specs would be slightly less than the real thing.  And there wouldn't be unlimited quantities, only what was sold back.

  Sorry, got off topic there. I was just trying to point out that unfortunately it is comparable to real golf.  And the older the club is (meaning year it came out), the less you'll get for it.
