Let's be honest, it's unlikely the option of gifting or selling items between members is ever going to happen due to the financial aspect.

However, my equipment list is untidy when it's full of all this unwanted equipment, so why not introduce another category to the bag named "Shed" or "Garage" where all the unwanted personal equipment can be stockpiled and left to deteriorate just like real life.

At least it won't then be cluttering up the menu when I'm selecting what I do want to play.

It also gives you the opportunity to bring a putter out of retirement when you start a bad case of the yips.

    I like that idea, Alan_M.

So WGT loses money and introduces green fees or increases the price of balls or clubs. Then you'd be happy?

Leave it to Piz to cut to the chase.

Use them for practice rounds, or for CTTH play. You do have options.

One fine way my CC has used in the past is to have a " Furthest From The Hole" Tournament, where you intentionally hit the ball in the direction you feel will result in the most feet away from the hole. Player with the highest total distance wins! This format results inevitably in tons of lost balls. Unlimited play of course.
