Andyson... nice number crunching.  Surely there must be a funny graphic to go with all this?  Or perhaps this'll be the lead story in the next Enquirer...

Alosso... You need to take up a better cause.  You're smart, you're good, but championing this guy does not reflect well on you.  P.S.  Difficult stats do occur, I have noticed too, but not when it comes to 1,2 and 3 putts.

    Richard4168:

    alosso:
With 4 or 5 results of 31 to 33 he will be upgraded to the next tees.

Not if he hides in multi-player games and continues to level-up like a lot of other sandbagging level 100 Hacks are doing.

He doesn't hide like that - he plays RGs, affecting his average. And he must play low scores to protect his investments, thus severely affecting his average.

    alosso:
but I won't replace evidence by assumptions for any accusations

Yes you will, and did when you blew off the facts of his scoring low in RGs and high in casual ranked rounds.

    alosso:
No - I just see a TP with various results, and maybe he needs the kick of playing for money to play well.

    An assumption replacing evidence?

I agree with DMM's statement  "championing this guy does not reflect well on you."

I agree those scores look very suspicious and I agree there's a 90% chance he has been sandbagging but Alosso is right, he can't do it any more.  He has more than enough rounds as a tour pro that his average can only go down, hitting 50 for 9 holes won't make any difference.  Sandbagging only works until you reach the magic number of ranked rounds where just your best scores count, after that your average will only go down.  I forget the number of rounds needed to go from tour pro to master but it will be around 30 to 35, really not very many.

It is also possible he plays practice rounds with free balls, that would add a few shots per round.  Just a thought.  Or maybe he uses them to practice putting, deliberately landing a long way from the hole and uses these rounds to learn the greens.  Personally I'd play practice rounds to do this but there is no reason not to do it with ranked rounds.  Especially when you're in a new tier and don't mind if your average goes up.

The big issue here seems to be the comments he made and I assume WGT will take action regarding this.

And have you noticed that as of 5 days ago he's stopped playing ranked rounds or ReadyGo's?  He knows exactly what he's doing.  His average will be going nowhere while he levels up for better equipment.

These days he plays multiple match play rounds per day, taking other people's money based on his ruse.  Check out his sad "Activity".

You're right on this, the difficult ones are putts/round and putts made by distance.

<double edit>OTOH, I fail to discover match play challenges. AS, yes, but no money involved.</edit>

Of course you see this guy different than I do, knowing about the primary accusations. I only see a guy who may sometimes have putted more than neccessary (an assumption) and who has made a few bucks here. We are yet to discover if he made a bargain from this behaviour.

I was anxious about the prejudgement which showed here, thus my intervention.

And, please, don't become personal on me. It doesn't reflect well on your case.

I guess that takes care of the final 10% of doubt I had about him deliberately abusing the system for his own gain.

If he was winning only RG's that's not toooo bad but to play against other players for credits with a misleading average is way out of order.

But the credits won in RG's also come from other players. It is their real money. The money lost by the losers as well as the money not won by the real winners: the honest players with the best scores.

I just received a note from WGT that they are looking into his account.

I also hope they are looking at the racial abuse of another member that started this entire thread.  In the big picture that is the more important issue.

And for the record, this player has posted on my wall that he thinks others cheat at this game and thereby makes it okay for him to cheat.  And he also indicated that by not posting ranked rounds he can manipulate his average from going down.  Wonder why someone would do that???

Oh, and he also accuses me of being a (curseword) psycho for carrying on this thread.  Yep, he's accurate on that one.  As stated earlier I find his attempt to cheat the game and others of their money to be repugnant.  If that makes me a psycho I'm proud of it!  Glad I could do my part to keep the game honest.

Looks like it has been settled already!!!!

WGT has suspended his account, you can tell by trying to look his profile up, his name is no longer listed.

However if you have a link to his profile you can still see it, which means WGT SUSPENDED his account but did not DELETE it.

So Alosso are you feeling just a little guilty now?

    Danny
