shot time

  if i could change one thing about this game, it would be the time allowed to execute a shot in group play.  almost 3 minutes in a game that already creeps along is just too much. personally i rarely take more than 30 or 40 seconds to shoot, unless im lining up a particularly difficult putt. i think it should be 60 seconds with a stroke penalty, and booted from the game if it occurs more than once. if a person wants to attempt a record low round, let them play in single player.  quick play is encouraged on real courses everywhere.  why should it be different here.  ill hang up and listen off the air.

  i agree.  theres nothing worse than slow play, particularly on the drive.  once youve played a course a few times you should pretty much know where to hit your tee shot to put it in the fairway. taking more than 20 seconds teeing off is inexplicable.
