  WGTer DannyPhan contacted me and whatnot about 2 moons ago, and I was disturbed and nervous after seeing his video of his "missing/invisible avatar" during gameplay all up on the wgt.com. Medford Mel headed the reserach on this with his algorythm machines and his old man wisdoms.

  Thanks Yancy, your explanation was very helpful and entertaining.

  It might also help explain the MAZE LIKE STRUCTURE that appeared in my backyard last night.........

  There's breakiing news on Dub-G-T, it seems one avatar

  has recently just disappeared for parts unknown thus far

  A press release from DannyPhan asserts he just took off

  researchabled by Yancycan and Medford Mel, don't scoff !

  As this reporter's often thought, them avatars is weird

  I've never seen mine shave as yet, an' he's still got no beard

  An' while I'm at it, my guy putts much worse than me, I'm sure

  an' doesn't drive near half as far as I can, as it were.

  I'm tellin' ya, these avatars is thinkin' fer themselves

  they're prob'ly plottin' our demise with them damn Keebler Elves!

  As of this writing, further evidence has been uncovered with regard to DannyPhan's missing avatar. Sources close to WGT have confirmed what this reporter has long suspected. Our avatars are becoming increasingly dissatisfied with the way we humans are running things ( I.E. Making poor decisions which they must then carry out, whining in the forums, etc.) and have started an organised resistance in an attempt to become unionized. In fact, on the date in question, Danny's missing avatar was known to be attending a secret meeting with higher ups in the newly formed V.U.A.W.(Virtual United Avatar Workers) who are currently doing a viability study on implementing local chapters worldwide. A word of caution people, before you write this off as the rantings of a tinfoil hat wearing whack job, in America, where corporations have the same rights as individuals, it's only a matter of time before avatars will too, and then we'll all be golfing for them !

  Dear Mr.  Head Ambassador Yancy,  My research indicates they not only exist, but, have recently been linked to known operatives within the G. G. L. F ( Garden Gnome Liberation Front). I will, of course, report back with any additional findings.

  You know Longwedge, even if this cloak didn't actually work,  it would be a wonderful addition to my golfing wardrobe.  (Worn over a kilt it could get me kicked off any golf course in America)

  I had the exact same thing happen to me today. Could not see my player. Did not know where he was until I hit the ball. 

  Makes it a little strange playing the shot.

  You think this is a little strange ? I'm afraid this may just be the tip of the iceberg. My sources are indicating a widespread immobilization of avatars basically rendering gameplay impossible. ( cue "Moosion Impossible" music. ). Master Yoda, please bring the force. Head Ambassador Yancy, both you and Mel's presence is required ( and possibly coosbaycarol's) The rest of you , gird your irons, guard your balls, and God bless.
