Forgive my laughter but whoever came up with these styles must have been a clothing designer in the late 1940's or the early 1950's. When I joined a multiplayer for a game at St Andrews and one player turned up in the clothing I was rendered helpless with laughter.. Apart from having to put my sunglasses on whenever this player appeared, it was a good game with much amusement.
NormH3:Obviously you have never heard or seen the great late Payne Stewart. Thanks for pointing these out. Might have to go try on a few for size.
Does clothing maketh the man?
Thank you for your reply
That's funny... when I see these styles I smile... but for apparently completely different reasons.
Chipsalot:Does clothing maketh the man?
In some cases, yes... it certainly does.
Payne Stewart - January 30, 1957 – October 25, 1999
In Payne's case, you could say that they made the man. It's my understanding that he wasn't recognized much in public when wearing normal clothing.
Plus he honored the NFL team where he was playing by sporting their colors. That looks like Atlanta.
