wave, that is correct:
Your wager of 250 stays invisible.
From that wager, each opponent pays 25 to WGT, 2x225 are in the hat between you. As the winner, you take back your 225 (invisible) and get his 225.
Your effective wager was 200 cr + 25 entry fee from both players, or, the other way round, the winner pays 50 cr fees from his 250 cr "win".
Having this in view, Sweeties example is correct as well:
(edit: as jeff stated already)
WGT took 22 from each player and payed 200 to the winner. The net result is
200 - 22 = 178. Looking at the wager of 222, both fees are substracted from it.
SweetiePie91: First you charge both for 222+222=444
credits. Then you say winner will get 200 credits. But actually it is
just 178. 444-178=266. This means we pay 266 credits together for a game
to WGT with a chance to win 178.
No, hopefully you weren't charged 222 cr, only 22 - look into your account. On your side, the 222 were only blocked at the start.
The crs in play are 222 from the loser + 22 from the winner. WGT gets 44, your net balance is 200-22=178.
