  i m at master level 81 avg score of 65.95 with 299 rounds played

  just wondering what else i need to do to move up to the next tier of tour master

  average less then 65 I believe.

  That's correct, below 63 ave to get to TM and 61 to progress to Legend

  do yourselves a favor, take your time as a tour master and enjoy it. i can tell you from my own recent personal expierience that once you hit legend and the back tees the sleddin gets tough... really tough 150 rounds as a legend and i still scramble for pars on half the holes... congrats on movin up tho tip my hat to y'all :)

  You have to play tours.

  I am a tour master ... and have never averaged 63 / 65 or less !

  For that matter ... I don't think I ever shot a 63.

  My LOWEST avg. has been a 65.12

   

  Tour Master and Master are the same things.

  1. Master Tier - Is achieved by playing ranked - stroke games.

  2. Tour Master Tier- Is achieved by playing Tour - ranked - stroke games.

  3.  I have played very few . . . ranked-stoke games.

  mostly weekly + monthly tournys.

  If you play mostly ranked Stroke - games,  and not so many Tournys, I am probably correct .

  but .. I could be wrong ?

  yeah shoeman you are wrong... sorry not tryin to make you look bad at all but alas you are incorrect all tournament rounds are at the end of the day ranked rounds as they affect your stroke average

  master and tour master are most certainly not the same

  master tier you play very fast green speed at tourmaster you play tournament speed the only commonality is the tee you play from

  i've been on wgt for 2 years and have never heard of a "tour" stroke play round unless you are thinking of tournament rounds

  as for you being a tourmaster w/o averaging under 63 i don't know what i DO know is your average starts over when you tier up... this only came to be when they created tour pro, tourmaster and legend tiers last year (or was it late 2010 i don't remember). is it possible when they created the new tiers your were made a tourmaster at that time? i was away from wgt when that happened so other than that i was still a master i don't know what the criteria was.

  even though you have never shot 63 you can average well below it by playing good 9 hole rounds. for example if you shoot a 30 that equates to a 60 in your average. i never shot below 63 untill i made tourmaster myself.

  by the way the 63 and 61 averages are correct. i made tourmaster after shooting a 28 in the weekly 9 hole at st andrews which dropped my average to 62.8. i made legend after shooting a 30 in the weekly stroke play at..... st andrews again lol which put my ave at 61 even.

  once again shoeman i'm not tryin to make you look bad in any way just passin along the info i have learned from reading the tuitorials and that i've learned from the legends (who are far smarter than me lol) i'm friends with. hope some of it is helpfull

  Shoe, you have been here long enough that I bet you were shoehorned (forgive me) into TM rank when they reorganized the tiers.
