I hit a regular wedge no punch no backspin, but it is twice the distance to go

the same yardage.  So if you are 15 yards away from the hole,

you need to hit a 30 yard wedge shot for it to go the 15 yards with a

    60* wedge.

Like most things on here, trial and error is the best way. And make notes when something works.

For me with hi-level CC16 64 and Nike ball full backspin, shot goes +/- 28yards.

so the basic formula works my CC16 is rated 60yrds and shot goes almost 30.

but you need to  practice, practice, practice,

I will have to try and practice this. Could be good for greens with several tiers.

If you are using a wedge(not PW), the only thing that works is a standard full shot. You can take some off, but must be a full shot.

Preface: I am open for any creative shot.

These are puttable for sure - just mind the elevation correction!

The only imaginable place for me might be a green with a real drop towards the hole - STA #17 comes to my mind...

...but a fixed distance of 25' - will it be worth a backputt?
