game freezing

  every so often when playing my game freezes when i look at top of page it says internet explorer 8 not responding. not knowing alot about computers im not sure if this is related to WGT or my computer any advise or instruction would be greatly appreciated. i would just like to take this oppertunity to apolagise to anyone who has been playing me when this has happened i know how annoying it can be

  Hi Dave, can you try playing in a different browser and let us know if you experience the same thing?

  I get the same problem with Firefox, but the game works fine with Safari and Chrome with me.

  Ever since the latest update I have been having issues with freezing as well. It happens more in practice mode than in ranked. Particularly when playing multiplayer in practice mode, almost once out of every 4-5 games. I've used firefox,chrome and explorer and it doesn't seem to be any different regardless of which browser is running.

  I got WGT to work with firefox also had other problems but once I deleted everything with the browser and reinstalled it, it corrected the problems.

  This is more likely an internet explorer 8 issue than a wgt issue. IE8 has a tendency to stop responding. That is why I stopped using IE and started using firefox. But I had some trouble with firefox as well so I started using Chrome and have had nothing but success with it. And it seems to be faster than either of the other 2 for web surfing as well.

  Since the last update the game freezes in PRACTICE MODE midround. You try and refresh but you lose the game. Frustrating......It is not internet prob.
