Ok. I would rather have another wedge in my bag and get rid of my 3 iron. So why can't we do this, there is nothing in the rules of golf that says we must carry a 3 iron etc. So lets get to choose what we want to use rather than having to use 3 to pw!

It's just how the game is. Why not dump your hybrid?

That's what I did. I find I use that wedge a lot more than I did the hybrid.

silky... another thing you can do is to tailor your bag for the course you play.  I routinely carry 4 wedges plus driver, but there are time when i will drop a wedge in order to carry a 3 wood or 3 hybrid.

i definitely agree with you about being able to drop the 3 iron however.  if i could, i would drop both my 3 iron and PW  in order to carry drvr, 3 wood, 3 hybrid and 4 wedges

I play with 3 wedges, but I rather get rid of my 3i and replace it with my hybrid, which is in inventory and it never gets used.

You would think that WGT would try to figure this out too because how many people would drop their PW for another high end Cleveland at $9.00?

The 3iron is part of a set of Irons and is Tagged to that set. You can remove and replace any other club except for the irons.

If you can buy an Iron by itself then this would be possible.

Just asking for added flexibility.   One can only have up to a maximum of 13 clubs in a bag excluding the putter. It doesn't matter if you have 4 woods, 3 wedges, and a mixture of irons as long as you don't exceed 13 clubs in the bag.

The reason I asked is the hybrid I have goes as far as my 3i, and it would be a great utility club in the bag.

I realize this has been asked before, but I think it would allow for more realism.   Lets face it,  we don't always hit the fairway off the tee all the time and the hybrid would come in handy.

i agree Infinito you would think we should be able to carry any clubs we want in our bag as long as its not more than 13. Lets protest this lol.

Do you mean that after all these years of carrying 14 clubs in my bag, all my rounds have been illegal?  I need to pay back a lot of wagers!  And return some trophies...
