Connection Lost - cannot connect to WGT server

  In the past 2 or 3 months I have started receiving the Connection Lost message, ie unable to connect to the 'WGT server.  I am using the latest version of Firefox - I have loop turned off - I have no problems on any other website - If in a multi-player game, I get thrown out of the game.  As I said this only started some weeks ago.  If I am playing solo, I click retry and the game continues as normal but the message will come up 5-6 times per round.  HELP!!!!!!!!!!

  I know this is an old post but any luck? i cant find anything helpful about this.... dont want to stop playing but this is really bad...

  hi

  it's not a game error. but something between you and the servers. sometimes it happens to me but usually fixes itself within a minute. if it happens, try to refresh the client.

  I'm having same problem. I cant finish a match or alt shot game due to being DQed after it occurs 3 times. does anyone know how to resolve this condition cant go on like this. if this is a wgt server  malfunction what option are there. this BLOWS

  Was happening to me today.  Had very haphazard jerky display that created all kind of bad shots (!) and some very weird outcomes.  Finally just started getting the message.

  It was not my connection, since I checked it before and after running 120Mbps which is higher than standard.

  This has become increasingly worse for me. I can’t play H2H games as I get DQ’d. Even if I’m playing cc games it happens 3-4 times per round. I have to end the game and restart. I took my server today from “auto” channel and set it to a specific channel to no avail. And yes, I tried them all. This is taking all the fun out of the game. I will think i hit a great shot or putt and it will just render, render, render. I have to swipe it away, relaunch and then try to hit same shot again. But like poster said above, if playing H2H games you get DQ’d after 3-4 times. Please advise.

  I too had the disconnect during play last night. It told me it could not connect to wgt. At the same time 8 other players scattered across the U.S. and Canada had the same message. wgt does not have the guts to admit that the servers are not big enough to handle the game play during prime time. Put on the big boy pants and admit you have a problem wgt and quit blaming our internet for your short comings .  How do I know this.... We were all voice connected and talking to each other. The voice communication we were using was on the same internet and the voice end of our game never shut down.

  ^^This. That silly fund raiser jerks the game around something fierce. I even saw a new message this time--"Unhanded Server." WTF is that??  LOL

  I cancelled an important CC match because of this. I just won't play a match that means anything while this silliness is going on.
