  I'd love to know with whom I'm conversing on these forums..... A forty something year old like myself, or some gaming kid. Put ages in profiles!

  you are also assuming that male avatars are actually men...same goes for women avatars....

  You sure have me assuming alot of things.  Some special interest forums require a birthdate which is hidden during the registration process.  However your age is displayed below your Avatar.  Can't see what the purpose of lying about your age would be on a golf game forum.  I think that most people would be honest when they registered.

  As far as assuming that the females are females.  I'm not concerned with that.  I'm not here to try to Mack on the girl players.  If some fat guy wants to be a girl in an online golf game, good for him.

  You could enter your age in your status line. As far as pretending to be something you're not, I'm not sure what the purpose of that is on an online golf game.

  I'm abivalent on ages.  Not sure what your definition of 'some gaming kid' is, because everyone here is supposed to be +18 anyway. 

  Besides, as someone else alluded to above, what makes you think you're going to get the truth?
