    Hey all,

    Just looked at Olympic, this year's US Open Gift to WGT. In one man's opinion, it looks a lot like Bethpage, but West Coast. Lots of uphill, pinched fairways and the like. Hopefully it comes in the next week or two, can't wait for another high quality course.

    On WGT's Facebook page, it states that the Olympic Course will be released on 4/9/12. That is the Monday after Easter!

    it will be cttp qualifier not the stroke play. That's still a bit off.

    Front 9 ctth now, Back nine in May and full stroke June 1st if it is like it has been for the past 2 years.

    Brilliant. You tell us your rolling out a new course Monday (on FACEBOOK which I hear about on HERE)....now its a poxy ctth.....cheers

    Actually the full 18 at Congressional was released last year on the 12th May so I would say that the stroke play at Olympic will be along around then. Oakmont, the year before, was indeed released on the 1st June. Given that WGT said that they would begin releasing Olympic in April, I took that to mean that they would release the front nine for stroke play now and the back nine next month. A little disappointed it's only CTTH for the moment.

    a little disapointing yes i thought it would be the front 9 myself as i wasnt here this time last year i didnt know how it works, but cttp will be good and id rather the course be bang on when its released to us with out any bugs so keep up good work wgt

    The full course is supposed to be released on May 11th. I've heard that from a couple of sources.
