Match Freeze

   I invited golfguy1800 to play today about 2:30 EST. We completed the first two holes and right after GG1800 took his drive  on 3 my avitar display but was not active (grayed out to programmers). His name showed as loading and after that nothing happened. I tryed to communicate via the chat but got no answer. I don't know if he saw the messages I sent. After a while he disconnected and I abandoned the game.

  This was my first match with another player so I could have done something wrong, but I don't know what it was. Could you check this out?

  It does not sound like you did anything wrong.  It seems like when you both went to load the next hole, one of you lost connection to the internet which would result in the disconnect.  Using a landline and faster connection will help avoid this, but you can never count on what type of connection your playing partner has.
