Yes and no, Boots. It would be good for you but bad for the game if you were able to practice the exact same shot from the exact same spot wherever you wanted over and over until you could do it with your eyes closed. Scores would plummet and the game would become cartoonish.
You have 10 shots a hole until you max out so it's relatively simple to set up whatever shot you want, like a sand shot, by hitting into that trap on purpose. Hit out and back in until your shots run out and then go to the next hole. SA has a lot of huge greens, albeit not very flat, that you can putt away on to map your putter. BPB has a lot of long fairways you can hit back and forth on. Use the reverse green view to site backwards down the fairway to see the aimer. GL
