Me and hpurey will be hosting this competition. This is a Legend only, single-elimination, 32-player knockout Match Play tournament. Despite the number of people who sign up in this thread, it will only be 32 players. It is just for fun, but there may be prizes available for the winners, depending on whether anyone is willing to sponsor a few credits. EDIT: We have had a great early response re sponsors, the current prize pool is 9 sleeves of balls. The bracket will be randomised and will be hosted at http://challonge.com/.

Rules (IMPORTANT - please read)
Ok... this bit is kinda long-winded. If you can't be bothered to read them, just think of the Hustle but without the high stakes.
- All rounds are to be played in the "scored" Match Play mode over 18 holes.
- No scorecard is required, but it is suggested. All that is required is a post in this thread after a match has been played, and the winner's activity will be checked for the result.
- The first round will have a 2-week deadline, the second round 10 days, then the quarter-final, semi-final, third-place play-off and final will each have 7 days to be completed (the third-place play-off is optional for the contestants).
- If you are having trouble arranging a match, post here ASAP. The tie-breaker in this case will be the next week's 18-hole single play after the problem has been reported - both players involved in this will be notified via a wall post/private message. The 18-hole single play round must be played ASAP, Thursday at the latest if possible. If you both shoot the same score, a coin will be tossed.
- Each player has 4 days for each round to either respond to a message/wall post sent to arrange the game, or to send a message/wall post to arrange the game. If they do not do so in round 1, an alternate - someone who signed up after 32 people have signed up - will be used. From round 2 onwards, a bye will be awarded.
Disconnections
- If someone disconnects and does not return within 5 minutes, or disconnects 3 times during a match, the match should be played again immediately, using the concede putt to reach the hole of disconnection.
- Example - if Bubba Watson was beating Tiger Woods 2up when Tiger Woods disconnected a 3rd time while they were both on the 8th fairway, Tiger Woods would concede the opening 2 holes, then they would concede each other's putts in order to reach the 8th tee with Bubba 2up. They would then start playing competitively again on the 8th hole, and their previous shots on the 8th hole would be discarded.
Courses (IMPORTANT - please read)
- When signing up, please say what your favourite course is, excluding TruGolf course but including Best Of courses. The course with the most votes will be used in round 1, the course with the second most votes in round 2, etc.
- Exception - if The Olympic Club becomes available for Match Play before the semi-finals or final starts, The Olympic Club will be used.
