Tournament "Lag"?

  Hi, I noticed that whenever I play in a tournament, the speed or tempo of the game really slows down. The swing bar does not move in a uniform tempo, but kind of skips a little. In any case, it is very hard to time my swing in tournaments and therefore I play much worse than when I play regular rounds. Anyone else notice similar issue?

  Tournament play uses the same resources as any other single player game, there should be no difference.  The main causes for "lag" is internet traffic between your home and our servers or processes on your local machine that take up CPU cycles or or RAM. I ran a registry clean-up and anti-virus/spyware program regularly to make sure my machine is performing optimally.  Spyware and add-ons for legitimate programs add up and take up a lot of CPU cycles and RAM.
