Just got changed from TourPro to Master two days ago and I have noticed that I need to change my clubs. I was thinking of buying the PING 2010 RAPTURE V2 IRON SET (GRAPHITE) (L48+) and I am in level 82.

Any experienced advice will be appreciated.

    Thanks in Advance.

Now that you've hit the master tees it will nice to get something that will improve distance.

Depending on how much you are willing to spend will determine what set will suit you the most as the general idea is the more expensive the clubs the better.

The rapture set is very popular and allthough ive never used that set myself i have friends to speak very highly of it.

When i hit master i bought the lvl 64+ taylor made set which ill link for you

It's nice value for money and includes wedges also :)

Only thing i didn't like was the irons dont have high trajectory and when i hit 83 i will buy the g20 set for 83+

As the previous response said... a lot of it depends on how much you are willing to spend, keeping in mind that when you make it to Legend tier, you will most likely need to buy clubs again.  That said, my advice would be to purchase a good mid-level, mid-priced driver and a really good set of irons ( I bought the level 37 tour burners when I unlocked them and used them all the way up to level 90).

Possibly even more important than this though, is to get some really good wedges.  You will find that the greens are a little quicker, and being able to control your shot is, to me, more important than hitting it 500 yards.

Probably the best advice I can offer is to look at what is available to you, maybe rent your top 2 or 3 choices, and then go with the clubs you are most comfortable with.

GL and good scores to ya.

I have played with and owned both the Raptures and G20.  No comparison between the two.  G20's are the gizz, best irons I have ever played with and moving into the Master tier you will need the extra yardage and high ball flight.

G20's (in another level) if you want a slower meter, lvl 79 burners if you can handle the speed.

get the level 59 G20 irons and the level 81 G20 woods and never look back. That is the best set up you can get.

I was lvl 82 when I became Master & I am happy that I waited for the next level to buy the G20 set. Top quality for Master & Tour Master games, at least!

The Raptures are a very playable club..I played with them for a long while and I was able to lower my scores dramatically..However, the lower trajectory made it very difficult to play at BPB..They simply couldn't hold the greens..

Nowadays, the G20 (L83) looks like the best club available with a manageable meter speed. I rented them a few weeks back, and enjoyed the forgiveness they afford..Mishits weren't nearlly as offline or short as my G10's (L59)..

Bottom line...If I was you, I would wait to hit level 83, then buy the G20's..They will carry you through the TM level, and you may never need to buy new irons again..
