I have 2000 credits and I'm desperate to spend them . I'm on level 43. My tee to green is pretty good but I can't hole a putt to get a really decent score.

I was thinking should I get the Nike putter at level 51 or should I give myself more chances and buy the lesser G20 driver and get abit more distance

OR should I buy both when I get to the right levels or wait and buy the Taylomade RBZ.

I like the slow meter so tend to go for Ping

I have Ping rapture V2 stuff at the mo and a Ghost spider putter level 35

I would suggest waiting until you reach (L55) and get the Daytona Rossa putter, and then

I would suggest waiting until you reach (L58) and get the Ping G20 driver.

    Good luck!

I really think the putter you have is pretty good, maybe give it a bit more time. Then you could save your credits for a better driver like the g20 at level 58 or get some better irons. This would help you get closer to the pin, which should let you have some easier putts. Putting is probably the hardest part of this game and it takes some real effort to get good at it. There's lots of threads in the forum that give putting tips, take a look at Nivlac's putting thread under game tips. Plus some of the better plays like Priestess and BolloxInBruges have posted videos on YouTube which you can watch and maybe pick some things up to help you.

Well, based on your level I wouldn't change much at this time.  I personally recommend the level 39 TM Satin 64 degree wedge (50 yards) as to me this is the most versatile club in the bag and for 250 credits it is well worth it.  You can replace the starter 3wd with this club in your bag.  Other than that I would recommend waiting on the first G20 set (I haven't tried the rocketballz clubs).  Your existing clubs should keep you progressing until then.

As far as putters go you have one of the best so really the best advice there is just to get better with the "ding" and reading the breaks correctly.  The Level 51 Nike is probably a little better but it won't magically make your putting better - just makes the ball go more precisely where you aimed it when "dinged".  In other words - if you aimed it incorrectly it will miss the hole with more precision.

I am currently playing the Redwood ZB putter, and it seems to

have knocked at least 4 strokes off my score from the starter putter.

That putter you have now is very good also, so I am not sure if

you will see improvement with a switch to the Redwood ZB.

I would say keep your credits in the bank and continue on as far as you can go. The more Levels you get up your sleeve the better. The clubs you have now are quite good.

Not sure about the Driver at your level...  but the 1st putter I got, back in the stone age...lol Which I still use....The Rossa... Very Good Putter.

If you want to spend a few credits... maybe look at getting some good Golf Balls, but that's just a thought. The only thing is that Golf Balls can last you just a few shots.

    Good Luck

I was thinking should I get the Nike putter at level 51...this is just me...but I am on level 87...and I have tried a lot of different putters...in fact I have a level 51 Nike putter in my inventory...I also had bought the top of the line Nike putter from the 70ish level but have sinced sold it back...my tip (not advice) would be to invest in the 600 credit level 44 'Ping Redwood' putter...that is the one that is in my bag right now!!! And even though putting is an individual thing...and what may be great for me might not even be good for you...But...trust me you can not go wrong with this 600 credit investment...for the meter speed...accuracy...forgiveness...you may not after getting this putter ever think about getting another one again...including the upper level 'Ping Redwood' putter...because once you dial it in...it is ALL YOU WILL EVER NEED !!!

Iv tried every putter going...on the free rental wkend's. an I went back to the Daytona putter. lvl 55.

Just my opinion but the increments are easy ,an I miss the ding  (a lot)  an still have some good birdies and putts...As in all equipment you gotta practise an get used to it..

I second that, with some addition:

    - I can't judge your wedges, do they work well? Ev1 suggests the Z Satins - I started with the 64° (50 yds) and now I have three of them!

    - Try out some balls! I've come to the WGT SD balls, 65 crs a sleeve, that's about 6 crs for 9 holes. Less roll means more fun!

When you become Master, you will need extra length, so you might want to save your money at least for the level 48 Raptures.
