The free Putter Pal has apparently polarized Wgt players into 3 groups..

    1. Those who have just started playing, and can benefit from Putter pal, so they enjoyed the gift..

    2. Those who know how to play, and don't need putter pal, but they read the instructions and decided to turn it off..

    3. Those who think they know how to play..

    You missed number 4...

Those who are happy with a bit of card stuck to their monitor - which is less intrusive, or those who have already made their own on-screen ruler, which is free and more customisable than putter pal, and done to the individual's requirement.

I used to use a piece of card, but I'd also created a far better on-screen ruler way before putter pal came out.  Still preferred the piece of card for a long time afterwards, but eventually I moved to the on-screen ruler and now use it all the time, except when I'm in "hit it and go run after it and hit it again" mode.

And number 5: those who appear to be angry at being given a free game aid which they can choose not to use.

EVERYONE can turn it off, and it isn't difficult.  Just take a look at the threads started over the last week or so which explain how to do it, or read the FAQ's.  I guess if you can't read, then that's a different matter, but if that's the case you won't be able to read this anyway.

I think I might know where you went wrong, because I did the first time I tried turning it off.

When you click Menu, Game Settings the first screen you see is the Display one.  That's where Putter Pal on/off is but you have to scroll down to find it.

Firstly, learn to spell.  Secondly, learn to search and read before writing stupid comments that are false.  If you'd bothered to take 10 seconds to look you will have found at least 20 threads from this past week where people have said how to turn off putter pal.  Care to enlighten us with any more garbage?

    Me Me Me,

Been using it for a while and it even helps me gauge other shots as well.
