    Hey WGT'ers.

Since I just reached L92 and have the chance to buy something again I've found myself standing in front of the pro shop admiring the Ghost Spider.  I already have the L66 one and get on great with it.  What I'm wondering is whether the 2 half dots the level 92 version has over mine are really going to be noticeable.  I'm not expecting to sink 5 more putts a round but 1 or 2 would make it worthwhile.

I'd appreciate feedback from anyone who has used the level 66 one and upgraded to the 92 version.

I haven't used the level 66 but I have used the level 92 and the level 35. I play with the level 35 because the meter speed is slower than the 66 and the 92. My advice to everyone is don't spend 2400 credits on something that didn't do any better a job for me than the one that costs 800.

Fair is fair, T. You did say when the Ghost first came out you had a hard time dinging it because of the speed. I happen to like it because the meter speed is not an issue with avatar moves and dinging is fairly easy. What does hurt is when you miss that ding you're usually missing the putt by the same amount. Very frustrating. You gotta ding the 92!

I can't speak for the earlier Ghosts but your game is hard to take issue with.  ;-)

I upgraded from the level 66 ghost to the 92 and my putting has gone downhill (excuse the pun) since. I am honestly thinking of going back to the level 66.

I use the miss ding way of putting and you just can't do it with the level92. You have to be very precise with your putting and ding every shot as it goes exectly where you are aiming. Too precise if you ask me. No room for error.

In my opinion stay with the 66. If you are used to it why change it. Spend your credits on some decent balls.

    Well Mainz,

I have never been able to try out the L92 Ghost myself.

That being said, if you putt great with the one you already have, why change it.  The saying,"If it ain't broke, don't fix it,"  comes into mind.

Gotta love the Rossa, very forgiving.

not tried the lv 92 as im only lv 91..

the lv 66 was alot better to the lv 35 in my opinion bt i will have the same problem as i do think the spider lv 92 will be similar to the nike as in very precise, i didnt like the nike i did keep trying with it bt i just could not use it, i do ding putt so the lv 92 might be up my street but then again maybe not.

with me i will have to try it to see but i will keep the lv 66 in the cuboard just incase. for me the spider putters have always been the best :)

That's very true.  I'm putting pretty well with mine, I just figured the 92 would be the same, just a tiny bit better.  If it needs to be dinged every putt though then myabe I'll give it a miss.

Or wait for the next free rental weekend.

    Thanks to everyone who posted.
