Probably a dumb question....Can anyone tell me what the info means in that aiming box, I know yds means yds away but is the info above it that says a certain number of ft. with an arrow the elevation or what? Thank You.

if you can post a picture, i can be more specific. but, in general, yes, that arrow with # does state how hole is in relation to you. for example: on bethpage #15, from fairway you should see arrow and about 25-35ft, which means it's 25-35ft above you, so few things will be known:
1. hole plays longer
2. when ball lands it will have a tendency to run more
