ten lipouts in a rg

  i just played a st and 18 hole rg and to my astonishment i had ten lipouts all on birdie putts what the???? Cmon wgt enough of the bs cos i tell you what your just about to lose a top paying customer here :) Also whats with putts not breaking at times when clearly they should and shots going dead straight with cross winds.You have me stumped!!!!!

  Things have seemed a little strange to me the last week or so.  Today in a nine hole ready-go on Tournament speed greens I left 4 birdie putts short (all were dead center and stopped less than a foot out) but was hitting the same distance on the meter that I always do for those distances.  Seemed like St Andy's was invaded by "fast" greens.

  Personally, I think game play has tightened up the past few weeks, and as such the demands on the correct shots and reads are stronger, but I am pretty sure it is across the board (meaning all players).

  I think you need to just sit back, do some CTTH's, and such, get back into a groove, then hit the RG's.

  MB i totally agree it would be for all members and not just me. i just wanted to have a vent lol
