Play CC Event #2 today and tomorrow to compete against other country clubs.

WGT Country Clubs can now play against each other for rankings and new in-game rewards, including new custom tee markers and flagsticks that you can use in country club tournaments, and the much talked about MAX CC Rewards Gold Putter.

CC Event #2 runs from Thu 12 PM PST to Fri 2 PM PST and is made up of multiple 4-hour Club Clashes where you're matched up with another country club.

When a CC Event starts, anyone in your country club can enter your club. Once your club is entered, you'll get matched up with another club, similar to your club's skill level, which starts the Club Clash and a timer will show how much time is left in each Clash.

Each Club Clash will be played on nine-holes at either St Andrews, Merion, Congressional or Oakmont. Post as many good rounds as you can for your country club in each Club Clash, using either a Club Pass or a new Superpass to multiply your points.

The winning clubs in each Club Clash receive additional bonus points, and at the end of the CC Event, the top club wins the new MAX CC Putter to award to a lucky club member, and the Top 25 clubs each win new Gnome Tee Markers and Flagsticks. Gnomes!

This week's Country Club of the Week is... Tin Cup Country Club, a small club run by club owner Wesdogg75.

The Tin Cup Country Club currently has 30 members, including 3 officers, at Club Level 5 with almost 48,000 Total Rounds played.  At Club Level 5, they have unlocked a number of country club benefits, including a free Putter Pal and Shot Pal for all of their members and earning +2% XP per round. Keep playing using CC Passes to level up your club to unlock these benefits too.

Owner Wesdogg75, a Level 99 Tour Legend, had this to say about the club:

"We are a small group that started with about 5 or 6 guys that played together all the time. We have always been a close and tight knit group, many of us have been a part of the club for 3 years or more.

We enjoy playing matches with/against other country clubs and have been active in club tournaments as well as community-organized tournaments."

WGT player fmagnets wins the Trick or Treat for UNICEF Challenge, in the Tour Legend tier of the WGT Virtual Tour.

Tour Legend fmagnets captures his first WGT Virtual Tour title in the October Trick or Treat for UNICEF Challenge, shooting a final score of 130 on the Best of Par 5 course to win the tie-breaker over WGT player nashkurt. 

fmagnets recently shared his virtual golf skills with the community in one of our live Twitch streams, playing against WGTicon (aka iconian) on Congressional. Watch that Twitch match, and see other past matches on the WGT Twitch channel.

The top 70 scores in each tier of the Virtual Tour tournament have all earned a share of the 200,000 WGT Credit purse this month, adding to their overall Season Leaderboard standing to qualify for the Virtual Tour Championship in December with a record one million credit purse.

As we get closer to the Virtual Tour Championship in December (with a record purse of ONE MILLION WGT CREDITS), every credit counts to move you up the Season Leaderboard to qualify for the final showdown open to the top 70 players in each tier. In the Tour Legend tier of the very best WGT players, dansamcam has won four regular events and is currently #1 in the Season rankings, while poldimaier, ujjbnjk and frenchconnect have each won one major, placing them high at #2, #4 and #5 in the season standings. fmagnets is currently at #3 in the overall standings.

This week's Country Club of the Week is... The Madrid Golf Club, a Spanish-speaking country club with active members that has grown quickly.

The Madrid Golf Club currently has 206 members who have helped the club reach Club Level 8 (approaching Level 9!), with more than 5.3 million XP (experience points). At Club Level 8, they have unlocked a number of country club benefits, including a free Putter Pal and Shot Pal for all of their members and earning +3% XP per round. Club owner johnman1 gives us some insight into the club...

"We are a Spanish speaking club which has grown very quickly during the past year. This has enabled us to be a little more choosy with our members and support the active type player. Our members participate in our forum with videos, music, jokes and anything else that is the weekly topic.

We are very active with weekly tournaments, Country Club Clashes and different tier level matches. We have four very busy team members which I would like to mention for their great participation in our success: Kas64 (Development Director), Tiburn7k7k (Tournment Director), Mafias1982 (Members and Support Director) and myself, johnman1 (CEO).

We do have some openings at the moment and would welcome active players of any tier."
