CC Event #68 runs 3/15-3/16 with multiple 4-hour Clashes, so be sure to play as many games as you can for your club and keep your eyes on the leaderboard.

CC Events allow WGT Country Clubs to compete against each other for bragging rights and special in-game rewards. The club that earns the most total points from their Clashes wins!

Here's how it works: Each event is made up of Club Clashes which last for a limited amount of time (usually a few hours). When your club enters the event, you'll be matched to play with a similar skill level club. Start playing! A timer will keep track of how much play is left in that Clash. Club members from both sides can play as many rounds as they'd like during that time using Club Passes and Superpasses to earn points.

NEW Set of the Week CC Events

In "Set of the Week" tournaments and CC Events, all players are auto-equipped with the same set of equipment to compete with, creating an even playing field to really put your skills to the test.

Curious to see what one of these is like? We'll be running one this week, so be sure to check it out this Thursday!

We've also added new ways to earn points for your country club when you compete in CC Events. Clubs will now also earn points based on the following in each Clash:

• Longest Putt Made in the Clash (by individual player)
• Longest Holed Shot in the Clash (by individual player)
• Club with the highest Green In Regulation percentage
• Club with highest Birdie-or-Better percentage
• Club with highest Sand Save percentage
• Club with highest Total Distance of Putts Made

As an added bonus, each of these awards will earn 300 points towards their Country Club and the top 10 scores in each Clash will receive a multiplier bonus based on their position in the Top 10.

Play the Pebble Beach Championship this month, the first Virtual Tour Major of the year!

Compete in the unlimited play first round (3/1-3/25) followed by two single-play final rounds (3/26-3/28 and 3/29-3/31), with the top 70 combined scores in each Pro-Champion tier splitting the total purse prize of 200,000 WGT Credits.

FIXES AND IMPROVEMENTS

• Fixed a display issue with the Ball Effect preview screen that wasn't showing you your fancy vapor trail selection
• Some players got stuck when trying to buy Credits before purchasing a new Starter Pack Bundle - that's fixed!

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Virtual U.S. Open on WGT in collaboration with the United States Golf Association (USGA). Over the past ten years, more than 4.2MM people have competed, playing over 28MM rounds on U.S. Open Championship courses!

In celebration of this milestone, we've created a new course made up of the best holes from past U.S. Open Championships.

Starting in March, you'll be able to compete in the 2018 Virtual U.S. Open on some of the country's most prestigious courses including Bethpage Black, Pebble Beach Golf Links, Congressional Country Club, The Olympic Club, Merion, Pinehurst No. 2, Chambers Bay, Oakmont Country Club and Erin Hills.

This May-June, play in the Virtual U.S. Open Qualifier tournament for the chance to win a trip to Pebble Beach to experience the 2019 U.S. Open in person! 

As part of our effort to grow and celebrate the game of golf we all love, the USGA and WGT are excited to announce the first-ever Virtual U.S. Amateur this year. This new virtual Championship will be played on the same course that the U.S. Amateur will be played this August, Pebble Beach, followed by Pinehurst Resort and Country Club in 2019.

In 2020, the U.S. Amateur will be hosted at Bandon Dunes and as a result we'll be busy working on the full 18 holes of the iconic Bandon Dunes Golf Course. 

We'll be sharing more details on the 2018 Virtual U.S. Open tournament and the new Virtual U.S. Amateur as we have them, so stay tuned!
