The first WGT CC vs CC Event is now over. Thanks to all the clubs and players who participated, and congratulations to the winning country club AUGUSTA NATIONAL CC.

This is a new feature that we'll be continuing to improve, so we appreciate all your feedback, and we'll run another event soon with the improvements.

The table below shows the Rewards that clubs earned in the first CC vs CC Event, which are based on the points members earned on the final Event leaderboard. 

Members in the top 1,000 country clubs have earned rewards, that will be awarded automatically, and include bonus CC Passes, Speed Boosts, and 1 gold MAX CC Putter you've all been hearing about.

For their first place finish, members from AUGUSTA NATIONAL CC that played in this Event will each get the following...

• 5 extra CC Passes
• 4 Speed Boosts (Ultra)
• And 1 MAX CC Putter for the club, which is awarded to 1 player chosen by the club owner

For the clubs that finished between #11-25, all the club members that played will each get 4 extra CC Passes and 3 Speed Boosts (Plus), and so on.

Play the first WGT CC vs CC Event, starting at 12PM PDT today thru tomorrow.

WGT Country Clubs can now play against each other for glory and new in-game rewards, including winning some of the best new equipment in the game.

When a CC vs CC Event starts, anyone in your country club can enter your club. Once your club is entered, you'll get matched with another club as close to your club's skill level, and a timer will show how much time is left in each Club Clash.

Each Club Clash will be played on nine-holes at either Bethpage Black, Kiawah or St Andrews. Post as many good rounds as you can for your country club, using either a Club Pass or a new Superpass to multiply your points. Winning clubs receive additional bonus points, and the top club wins the new MAX CC Putter.

This week's Country Club of the Week is... Carolina Sandhills, a club that started more than 4 years ago and is still going strong.

Carolina Sandhills is currently ranked #8 on the Weekly Leaderboard, with more than 221,000 Weekly XP. At Club Level 8, they have unlocked a number of country club benefits, including a free Putter Pal and Shot Pal for all of their members and earning +5% Club XP when members play using a Pass. Keep playing and leveling up your club to unlock these benefits too!

Club owner mreddy remembers when he first started this club, on May 5, 2010, naming it after the area in which he lives. He went on to explain that the club runs regular tournaments, including front 9, back 9 and daily CTTH challenges. Plus, they celebrate holidays and special events by awarding special prizes He had this to add about his growing country club...

"I believe the Carolina Sandhills has been very successful. I've always asked anyone who joins the Sandhills to be kind and respectful to others and we have some really nice people in the club."

Club Tournaments consist of a Front 9 and Back 9 and a CTTH challenge daily. We also celebrate most all holidays and special events with prizes awarded. We have an end of the month Championship and a Matchplay Madness every month. It is a good way for members to meet others in the club."

WGT player ujjbnjk wins the Strike Out ALS Challenge, Tour Legend tier in the WGT Virtual Tour.

In the always-competitive Tour Legend tier, WGT player ujjbnjk from Sweden, took the top spot, shooting an impressive 106 on Merion to win the third major in the 2014 Virtual Tour. 

The top 70 scores in each tier have all earned a share of the huge 400,000 WGT Credit purse this month, to help them move up the season-long leaderboard and qualify for the Virtual Tour Championship in December with a record one million credit purse.

Congratulations to sebicu, fmagnets and demcug on their second and third place standings, a solid finish considering the competition.
