Pebble Beach is America's top-ranked and most famous golf course. The famed Pebble Beach Golf Links golf course is the most recent addition to World Golf Tour, now available as a free closest-to-the-hole online game.

Hole 7 at Pebble Beach is one of the most memorable in all of golf. You're on a cliff, surrounded on three sides by the Pacific Ocean crashing on the rocks below. You face a short downhill shot to a green that seems to get smaller as you stand on the tee.

There have been many well known shots here. Back in 1982, Tom Watson stuck his tee shot to just 2 feet on Sunday, putting him five under par on his way to the U.S. Open Championship.

On World Golf Tour, you'll be on that same tee virtually, facing one of the best shots in golf.

WGT Hole 7 Tip - You'll need to use a little less power on your shot, as the hole is 28 feet below you.

This free closest-to-the-hole online golf tournament has amazing Pacific Ocean views on "The Challenge at Manele" golf course on Lanai in Hawaii. The course is designed by Jack Nicklaus and is one of the latest on WGT.

This new full stroke play course features a mash-up of some of the best par 3 holes from your favorite WGT golf courses, including Congressional, Kiawah, St Andrews and others. Just select the new course in the WGT game menu.

Because the Best Of Par 3 course is a par 27 course, scores are not ranked, so it's not available in ranked stroke play format. However, you can play practice stroke play games, or against other players in match play, skins or alternate shot games.

Tiger Woods won the 2000 U.S. Open by 15 strokes, and one of his many memorable shots was his second at the par-5 hole 6 from 199 yards. This is one of the most famous shots in golf, a blind shot over the ocean cliff to a green that's 37 feet above you.

Incredibly, Tiger used a 6-iron for this shot, leaving it 15 feet from the flagstick and setting up a two-putt birdie.

On World Golf Tour, you can try that same approach shot from 199 yards over the cliff, but you'll probably need a 3-wood or hybrid.

Pebble Beach Hole 6 Tip - Zoom in on the green and play it a little short and left to let the ball run up onto the green.

If you ever get a chance to play Pebble Beach in real life, the tee shot on the first hole can be pretty nerve racking, as there's always a large crowd of tourists watching.

However, the fairway is wide and you just need to get your tee shot in play. The approach shot is actually more challenging, to an elevated small green protected by bunkers.

In the 2000 U.S. Open Championship at Pebble Beach, Hal Sutton holed his approach from 136 yards using an 8-iron for the first-ever eagle on this hole during the Open championship.

On World Golf Tour, the closest-to-the-hole shot on Hole 1 is from the same 136 yards. See how close you can get your approach.
