I'm sure I've seen this flagged up before (d'you see what I did there?) but I checked the suggestion list and couldn't find any reference to it.

So, any chance of making that putting information box transparent. You manage it okay with the avatar when he/she stands in the way of the shot-line, so why not the info box? It's really annoying on certain short putts. For instance, I had a 6-footer on the fifth at Oakmont earlier which was on the side of a cliff as usual, and the box covered the entire line from the reverse angle.

Yes, I know I can just move it out the way then put it back but that just discombobulates me and requires a bit of effort on my part, when I should be focusing all my attention on ballsing up making the putt.

auhh...come on now, it's been brought up like a million times already.
just add a small icon for the distance blue box on top, right next to the flag-stick icon,
so we can toggle between show/hide whenever we want without too much fuss
(sticking this in the options menu for example would be terribly annoying).

This doesn't sound so hard to do,
yet this issue has been going on forever.

That would require a little technical know-how on my part Icon, so therefore is unlikely to happen any time soon!

    oh no

    i didnt mean that way.

for example: when you on a specific hole with a specific view, can you take a screenshot, post it here and then tell me what you want to do. It's easier to visualize that way, so I can try seeing if it can be added to things to do:)

I think he talks about the aim marker:

And yes, posting a picture here requires some software (to save the image locally) and effort (to put it online) as well as know-how (how to include in a post).

Thanks alosso, that's exactly the scenario I was hopelessly trying to describe except the putt I mentioned was almost twice as long as that one you put up due to the camera angle.

I was just about to pop a charcoal rendering in the post ;-)

Thanks also to MBaggese despite his keyboard problems!

Thanks. That's exactly what I was looking for :)

Will add it to the list.
