The current procedure removes top-finishers from Tournament Leaderboards when they are non-eligible (and correspondingly no awards are rewarded either). When finishing outside the 'prizespots'  their names will stay on the Leaderboard (and correspondingly awards are rewarded, see Tournament Trophies)

I don't think it's fair 2 players who have done a hard job finishing high up the Leaderboard and then removing (and punishing)  them. Why not leave them on the leaderboard and give them their awards?

Solution would be rather simple: just enter NE (=non eligible) behind their names and it's solved....

    Cheers, GC

Edit: it would look like something like this. Assuming that first 10 players are in the money and among others Ireland and Germany are non eligible (just 4 sake of this example, in reality they are eligible most of the tournaments).

Yup, completely agree with that GC and it's that kind of solution I'm sure that the likes of Genorb and Kriztan have been asking for for a while now. They know full well when they are not eligible to win prizes, but I assume they enter purely for the challenge of it. To then have that hard work / achievement taken away from them is wrong.

It could work the same with non eligible player's qualifying for the finals of certain Tournaments. Say in this instance the Top 10 qualify for the final & poldimaier and BradysSeven are not eligible to win the prize - still let them compete and as a result let the 11th and 12th qualifiers play as well. Then if a non eligible player wins the final, simply award the prize to the highest placed eligible player. This I feel would make these types of qualifying processes more transparent and less confusing.

I was going to say if they're not eligible to win prizes, then give them some credits, but then I realised that by doing that Say they came in at 10th place then It would stop an eligible person who came in at 11th to win their prize, so best to keep it simple and as was mentioned, no prizes but name still on leaderboard so if they are in 10th, the eligible prize goes to the next eligible person on leaderboard.

Thanks Goody for bringing this to my attention (I overlooked that).

The leaderboard you report in the first post is from

    September NKF Cadillac Golf Classic

I personally never been removed from NKF competitions where there is no prize to win, only credits for the top ten players. But I was removed for this september edition...What special about that edition???

I would like an explanation from WGT (according to my score history I posted a 56 on the 8 September).

I was not removed from the leaderboards for the August and October editions (as well as for many other previous editions) where I finished both in the top ten and received 500 credits. See below

    August NKF Cadillac Golf Classic

    October NKF Cadillac Golf Classic

Very strange to be removed from a competition where there is no cash prize to win only credits and where it is explicitely mentioned that this tournament is open to my country... Even more strange that it happens only for that particular edition of this series of competitions...

    Thanks Goody.

I almost sure that this is a mistake because there have been like 10 NKF editions (perhaps even more) and I always finished in the top 10 (I missed perhaps 1 edition but I am not even sure) and I always received the credits without being removed from the leaderboard (I was removed from the leaderboard when there were cash prize to win).

So why it would be different for that particular edition...

It's not cash prize where only 9 countries are elligible, it's only credits where many more countries are elligible! For example, I can play ready-goes and free weekly/monthly tourneys to win credits.
