New Lobby Clock?

  Was playing an A/S match with 3 friends and one of them lost their connection.

  3 of us went straight to the lobby and the clock for the fella that left started counting down from 2 mins and 20 seconds.

  He got back just in time and a couple of holes later the same thing happened . . . gave him 2:20 to get back.

  Unforch he couldn't couldn't get back this time and the game was over.

  Has the clock been changed from 5 mins?

  In Alt it has...... had to boot up for the 1st time in a while and I was quick and got back with 8 secs to go...thinking it's a good move but setting the clock at 3 mins would be more user friendly...?

  Thanks for that Andy.

  I thought the 5 min clock was ok . . . especially when playing with friends.

  Did find it a bit long in the rare event I played with randoms and they quit but apart from that . . . seems a drastic and unnecessary change . .

  from what I understand, all reconnect clocks have been changed to 2.5min, not just stroke.

  yes icon that is true..but why did they change it? its very difficult for me and others to make it back within 2.5 mins when playin skins and we have already lost a good few skins to wgt  in the space of 2 days.

  You change so much in this game, without any announcements, why dont you announce those changes, like you do with new clubs etc?? VEM ruins or irons, so we never know how long they goes(R11) and now wgt have disabled the little help i use from watching flagaanimation, can tell me a crosswind might be light tail near pole, so i have to reduce a bit extra on my shot!

  What comes next without any warning?? Uneven lie or what?

  Yeah not a fan of the new time.  Unfortunatley my router resarts a lot of times on its own (Centurylink) and I could get back to the lobby before the 5min, now there is no way as it takes at least 3min if not longer to reconnect or reboot.  Guess my Match Play games are going to go for 90credits now.  Bummer.

  No biggee though eh ? It happens once, we know in future..

  Most Members have been asking for the clock to be shortened for a while now so.....

  Bit of a pisser if your 1st experience was in a skins credit match mind, but send an e- mail and  I'm guessing they'll look upon it sympathetically.
