When you purchase 3 balls, how many rounds can you play them, assuming you dont splash the water with one. Or does it depend on the cost of the balls?

Just as in real golf, if you hit a virtual ball it begins to lose compression and eventually becomes less playable. We have a similar concept in WGT where balls purchased from the Pro Shop have a durability factor and will wear out as you use them. You get roughly 3 rounds of golf with each ball before it wears out depending on the ball.

Balls don't last, seems like you finish a round or 2 and you're on to the next ball and spend more money. the starter balls are amazing enough if you can get inside 160 yards for an approach

    * It is calculated based on 21 hits per 9-hole round (par 36 with 67% green-in-regulation).

    **EDIT**

    alosso:

Zio, you might add to your table that putts from the green do not count against these numbers.

Not true here fortunately - the virtual balls will keep their characteristics unaltered until the last shot. No "wear" of look or physical abilities, just a countdown of shots.

Please do not use amazing and starter balls in the same sentence.
