    Hi All

As our esteemed leaders in WGT are obviously going to do sweet FA about sorting this out.......

I was thinking about what to do with the $25 gift voucher the other day and thought this would be a good idea.

This $25 dollar thing from the USGA is useless to all of us who qualified outside of the States. What I thought would be a nice idea would be to send the card by normal post to a golfing charity in the US who use golf to help kids from poor families. Check out the following link:

    http://www.thefirstteemetny.org/club/scripts/public/public.asp

It will cost the sender £1.28 (from the UK) and if a few people do it could be a nice contribution.

So those of you who have not destroyed it in a fit of pique, thrown it in the bin or are saving it for removing the ice from your windscreen please send it off.

    TAP

    Great idea Paul.

To be honest...I don't see why it's such a problem for WGT just to award the non US qualifiers 5 sleeves of balls, after all pixels cost WGT absolutely bugger all......zilch....nada.

Just had an email back from them and they would be happy to receive the cards.

However for their tax purposes they may require your name and address but let me confirm that, probably tomorrow morning.

    Address for them is;

    Program and Development Coordinator

The First Tee Metropolitan New York

    Mosholu Golf Course

    3545 Jerome Avenue

    Bronx, NY 10467

You will have to send it from a Post Office in the UK as it is Airmail.

Any player that sends their card into a charity I will issue them a couple of sleeves of balls.  Just post up a picture of the card and a addressed envelope and what type of balls you would like, and I will add them to your inventory.  Fantastic idea Tallacepaul.

    Can be any golf charity.

    TAP-

That's a great idea, but for those that do not want to do that I just posted this idea in the other thread about the gift card.

Great idea TAP. Sounds like an awesome idea. I will share this idea in my club forum as well.

Also thanks to WGTdbleshoe for his kind contribution to the players who will send in their cards.

    Thanks, James
