Maybe an interesting idea would be to make the upper tier partly based on activity.

For example., to remain in this new tier above TL you had to play at least once a month.

    ps

maybe members would find it interesting if this 'new added tier above tour legend' was reserved only for members who have only played from their actual tier tee box, and nothing lower as is now possible with the newest option in CC tournaments.

I think it's a great idea as long as it is based on what you have accomplished like winning tournaments, shooting x amount of perfect rounds or perfect round on every course.

Extremely low average with x amount of rounds a week, etc etc...should be hard to achieve said status and must be maintained via current activity, no play no superstar status....if it is just based on Levels/XP points the idea sucks...

I would spend more money chasing a 300yrd driver than a higher tier if you want us to spend more!

I think you should get on that as soon as all the multi-player glitches and errors are fixed, and meter and disconnect issues are solved, The Brits and Scots get their flags, and for gods sake HPurey gets his Yellow Calloways...

Trust me, all of the above should be way ahead of a new tier on your "ToDO list"...

    +1, Courteney and Dan.

    <snip>

@WGTadmin2: There has (have?) been thread(s) about the subject - would you please give a resumé for a start? It would show that you honestly listen to us.

And, can you promise trustworthily to keep in touch with us, to post WGT's conclusions in reasonable time? We haven't forgotten the disappointment about the wall of silence which WGT built when that big effort of proposals by alanti and the community was dishonoured a year ago!

Edit: In addition, there was an inquiry by WGT about the auto-caddie - it came to naught, showing WGT speechless against our efforts.

Show us that you deserve our thoughts!

    Hall of fame tier.

A tier what requires a larger tournament win or some special accomplishment in the game or voted on by the community to reach the tier. X average or X amount of rounds  does not count to achieve the tier.

+1 on Suncity's phrasing., ie. multiple big tournament wins and/or  maybe lifetime earnings above a certain amount.  Average requirements are almost a joke considering that only your best rounds are counted not a true average or current average of say your last 100 or 200 rounds.

Anything above Tour Legend should be a Hall of Fame - only the best of the best who ever played  and nothing to do with average.

I love the current condition but also interest on the idea of being able to reach a higher tier, fascinating. Good one from Jim and Dan, even Tek but only one tier, Champion sounds great.

An AVG score equal or under 54 with 2000 matches played on Tour Legend, the winning percentage not always correspond the experience gained over the years but is often subject to factors that do not depend on WGT such as alcoholism, distraction and bad connection.

However, the conditions expressed by Sun and Rahl are very interesting, but would serve as basis a real incentive from the part of WGT engaging seriously the players and the only way to do this would be to fix the well-known bugs and give players the opportunity to take advantage of promotions on the item or credits, even a Yellow Cally (think about you mate) for Haze.

    Just a thought.

    David.
