I heard last year from a WGT posting that they were supposed to have courses available for Bandon Dunes in Oregon.  I was @ Bandon in July and sure enough they said that a film crew was there and lots of other people.  Still wondered if it was still going to happen from WGT management?  Anyone heard anything about this ?  Thx, GreggersD

    Sometime.

To be more specific, sometime soon.  ;-)

According to older promise (*), Bandon (Par3s) is one of three courses due in the six months coming, together with Pebble Beach and Chambers Bay.

I spoke privately with Bandon Dunes management after that post asking as an Oregonian myself (begging actually) that they not go with a Par 3 course. I love the courses and wanted anyone one of their standard 72 par courses as they would all be great additions to WGT's line-up.

After 20 emails back and forth the response from their COO was simple. Bandon Dunes would have had to pay too much money to WGT to have a full Par 4 course so they opted for a Par 3.

Thus, WGT will I am sure fulfill the contract - when - well only WGT knows.

lmao .... good job that i've never tried to go into business ....... silly old me thought that it's wgt that would have to pay a golf club to photograph it ...... suppose that explains why there was no deal with lytham......   ah well
