  A couple of years we got lucky by finding back doors to stroke play way before WGT intended. (Since fixed-couldn't get there at PH.) 

  Baloney Jim ... I played two ranked full 18 stroke play rounds on Pinehurst before qualifying even started. Despite the fact that they released the qualifier early. I had already shot the two rounds and soon after, the qualifier was up and running the night before it was supposed to release.

  Well, if things get slow they could pretty quickly roll out Yancy's Par 2.5 course. With Yancy's flyover they practically have the whole course in the can already.
