Starter clubs tournament!!!

  You see all these good players on WGT and one thing they all share in common is clubs that are unbelievably good e.g. drivers with 280 yardage. Let's see who has skill and not just loads of cash to spare on this game. This will be a 32-player tournament with alphabetical drawing and is match play on Oakmont. It will be a knock-out format. Any takers?

  Tees will be easy the round of 32, medium in the round of 16, hard in quarter-finals and hardest in semi-finals and final. Winner will get a sleeve of B-XD balls in a colour of their choice gifted by me.

  Good idea SgtDoodles.   I'd like to see the results this time around.    In case your interested this was done last year ... and wouldn't you know it .... same great players won ... with Starter Clubs ... Check out the thread --- i'm sure you'll recognize some of the names.

  I didn't know this happened before! I thought I was the first one to think of it :( ! Still, this is first-come first-serve and isn't invitational so there'll be a vast range of skills involved. Just recently, I shot a 31 using starters on easiest conditions!
