    ********In the most recent "Clash"********

"Bee The Ball" set a new club win record :  6-1 (would have been 7-0 but I went to watch the Mets game)

Also, we had 100% participation and 100 point bonus for most points scored in all 7 games entered.

And our "Event Point Production Record" was set at 9156 by DaveDwingdale

I'm so proud of the whole team for doing all that, and finishing in the top 100 (86th),without spending a single credit.  Way to go "Bee The Ball".  You're the best.  I couldn't do a thing without you.

(Yes, I'm still the only one in the "Bee The Ball" CC.)

    Dave

I have to fully agree...and the Mets won as well (apparently the Yankees didn't show up, except to collect their exorbitant pay cheques).  It's refreshing to see someone who has fun with whatever circumstances they face...to keep things in perspective.

    ...very well done, sir

    Howdy Dave,

You must be vewy, vewy pwoud of the membership over there at Bee The Ball.

Please pass on my heart-felt congratulations to all concerned.

I'm wondering if you would be interested in a CC v CC event of our own?

I'd need to check with my Club Secretary regarding availabiltity, ask the Captain to ensure all signing up fulfill there obligation, and get our Tournament Director to clarify the rules in the unlikely occurance that the match ends in a tie.....  don't want any falling out in the public eye, do we?

Btw 100% win record for The Home of Golf  - we stopped after 4 rounds though as the paint was just about dry in our new Clubhouse.

    Regards,

    Wiger.

    Club Owner/Chief Bottle Washer extraordinaire.

Psst.... I don't even remember talking with Ann ;)

^^^^^^^^THIS IS WHAT THE CLASHES ARE ABOUT^^^^^^^^^^^^^

This is a stunning effort attaining that participation rate......so please pass on my congratulations to all your team....if you get time.

To have ignited that flame so all your members played and no doubt enjoyed themselves is testament to your leadership.

The Clashes are not about winning, but about participation and to have made it into the top 100, is the cherry on top.

This restores my faith in the Clashes and humanity in general.

I would have to also congratulate The Home of Golf, run by Wiger for their efforts as well.

Two revered and esteemed clubs......the thought of a head to head is mouth watering....will be standing room only.......only problem would be deciding which matchup to follow.

You what???  How could you possibly miss a clash to watch a ball game, where's the dedication, the club loyalty??  As punishment I feel the Club Owner should make you do the washing-up and take out the trash for at least 3 weeks  lols

    Thomas

ps - Congrats on that fine result, would love to see the Mets go all the way this year
